We are gearing up to start pre-production work on our latest TV advert, a spot for the company Green Thumb. Production is currently slated for September.
As of August 2nd our brand new TV commercial will begin airing on ITV1. The advert was created for Bradford College and revolves around the tagline ‘Rocket fuel for your future’, it sees a young boy sat at his dining room table painting, cutting, drawing and so forth until it is revealed that he has built a 5ft tall Rocket. The advert can currently be viewed on the Watts That portfolio page.
We a pleased to announce a new phone number for everyone to contact us on - 0845 122 7204. We hope you use this number to call us about anything that we can help you with, from TV adverts to corporate events.
Pre-production work is in full swing for our next TV advert, a commission for Bradford College that will inform prospective students about the higher education courses that are available. The commercial will be shot in mid-July for a probable screening date in August.
Late this May ‘Watts That’ attended the launch party for Manchester based lifestyle and fashion magazine – ‘The Magazine’. Held at ‘The Boutique’ in the city centre the party went late into the night with many no doubt nursing hangovers in the morning. 24 hours before the bash we we’re asked if we could film the night’s events, we happily obliged and managed to gather together the crew and equipment needed.
The film can be viewed at www.wattsthat.com/themagazine and is a testament to how fast Watts That can be at your disposal to film live events.
After the amazing success of Watts That’s 3D animated TV commercial for ‘Eureka - National Children’s Museum’, the advert will be returning to the screen this summer for a nationwide campaign. The commercial targeted children 6-12 and their families, producing a 36% increase in awareness over the first five days and doubling visitor numbers on the previous year. You can see the Eureka advert and many others in the Watts That portfolio section.
It’s election time again and after the success of last year’s campaign the Yorkshire councils have picked up our ‘Apart from That’ advert again to be screened in the run up to polling day on May 1st. We hope you get to catch it and enjoy it.
Next up for Watts That is NEXT. The high street icon is on the look out for new designers, technicians and marketers for its head office and is using the internet to do it. Through working with SMRS Recruiting in Manchester Watts That have created interactive online videos for NEXT’S website that outline the advantages of joining the NEXT family, either in an assistant post or as a trainee.
Utilising internet technology for recruitment is soon going to become the norm for big companies in the future and we were very excited about getting are teeth into it, the results can be found here.
If you think your company could benefit from web commercials then please contact us, the internet is an advertising tool that is still undervalued by many, but with large companies like NEXT starting to appreciate its value it‘s important not to get left behind.
The big news for Watts That this week is the completion of our brand new advert for EUREKA: The Children’s Museum, and it’s rather special. If you have a spare thirty seconds then please take a look at it by clicking here, it’s a 3D animation that revolves around a young girl and her pet alien called Orby. It’ll be screened over the Easter period on ITV so keep your eyes peeled for it. If you like what you see and fancy the idea of a 3D animated TV or Web commercial then please contact us, you may be surprised at how inexpensive it is.
In other news, Tom beat Simon today at Chess, Simon played the offensive game too early and left his queen vulnerable, after it was taken it was only downhill for the old master as Tom cleared up. Victory!!
